Q) How old I have to be to Join MDL ?
A) Without a Parent or Gardian 16, With Either Joining and Present at a show the yongest so far was about 6 weeks old.
Q) How old do I have to be to fight on the battlefield.
A) Over 16 years old is the minimum age for Regia Combat.
Q) Where are he shows and how do i get there ?
A) Shows for Regia are all over the UK and some even further, We dont have any facility to transport people around so you'll need to arrange your own transport i'm affraid. We may be able to help with some equipment transport for your first few shows.
Q) Do I have to be a Viking/Saxon/Norman.
A) Well... Yes you have to be one of the above - we are a Norman group post 1066 and Viking prior to that, This doesnt stop you developing a Saxon persona of course - only that it will need to fit in with the group.
Q) When are Regia Fee's Due ?
A) Fees are paid Oct to Oct yearly - you dont need to pay to come along and look - but if you'd like to arrange a temp membership to get involved for a day to try it out we'd be happy to arrange something.
Q) What clothes / Equipment do I need ?
A) We can mostly lend you kit / equipment for your first show and can show you the best ways to make it yourself - Regia has lots of craft people involved and some make kit for sale if your happier buying it - we can put you in contact. I would ask that you dont purchase anything on your own for the first 6 months, you need to make sure its right first and we're here to help you.
