Shows

Regia has shows all over the UK so you need to be able to travel, an average show can have between 30 - 50 tents set into group camps or 'wics', these give the civilian population of Regia somewhere to base themselves during the day, they can also be a place to learn crafts such as weaving, carving or even cooking....
The Wics cook and provide a base for their own group (and sometimes others) food is normaly charged at a daily rate in which you are expected to do your part in preparing and tidying up afterwards - you don't need to worry about plates and spoons etc as most have some you can 'borrow' for the first couple of shows but you will be expected to purchase you're own over time.
The shows follow a basic timetable we are normally 'authentic' (all modern items stored out of site etc) by 9.30am, military training starts at 10.30 am till around 12.00.
There are normally other 'arena' events which you may wish to become involved in - Regia has an archery unit also one of the best cavalry teams for this period anywhere.
The main battle is at around 2.30pm after which weapons tests are taken by those ready to move on to there next weapon.
We're normaly 'authentic' until around 5.00pm after which we can normally be found having a relax and a chat around the camp fires.
Regia's a very social envionment so whether you're single or a full family you'll always feel welcome round the camp fire.
